About me
Born and raised in Indiana I had a picture perfect childhood consisting of climbing trees, riding bikes, playing softball, and running free at the ballpark while my big brother and sister were playing ball. As I grew so did my love of music, and I moved to Nashville, TN for college where I graduated, with honors, from Belmont University. I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration with a major in Music Business and planned to go into publicity. During college I also began babysitting, tutoring, and creating adventures for children of all ages, which has been a passion of mine now for nearly 15 years. Upon graduation, fate had different ideas for me than I had carefully laid out when I met a guy, which tends to both ruin and enhance life plans. He got a job offer to be a Physical Scientist for a National Monument in Utah, an offer too good to pass up fresh out of grad school for a science and outdoor geek like him (and me for that matter). We moved to Utah, got married, and I started a new career at a 62,000 acre desert reserve where I spent countless hours running a visitor center and teaching the public about the trails, animals, plants, and ecosystems of the area. Along with many community events, private organizations, and miscellaneous functions, I visited nearly every elementary, middle, and high school in the county with a Mojave Desert tortoise and Sonoran Mountain kingsnake in tow. After half a decade at the Reserve I was lucky enough to have the most beautiful son, the love of my life, named Jack. Since he entered our lives I decided to stay home to keep the tiny human alive and focus on a few other personal dreams, including writing a children's book and getting back into my passion of creating costumes and clothing for the littles in our lives. There is nothing I love more than watching a story come to life in a child's eyes and I hope to create fun adventure stories with unique dress up costumes that encourage imaginative play, for both the young and young at heart. When I'm not busy creating I love to spend time with family back in Indiana, hike, go to Disneyland, and explore the world with my little one. Thank you for visiting this site, and I appreciate you wanting to be a part of my little adventure!
